Where Angels Play Foundation

The Where Angels Play Foundation was created by William Lavin, former President of the NJ State Firemen’s Mutual Benevolent Association in 2012 following the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut. Their vision was to memorialize the lives of the 26 victims, by building a playground in coastal towns in the tri-state area that were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. The Newtown families have assisted Where Angels Play Foundation in paying it forward by helping continue their initiative in building playgrounds for communities in need across the nation. The Where Angels Play Foundation has built 37 playgrounds to date.  whereangelsplayfoundation.org
